WorkTech implementation methodology is a simple, yet comprehensive approach to implementation, with specific objectives and activities to ensure an on time and on budget implementation. The methodology consists of a series of synchronized tactical tasks beginning from the initial client needs-discovery.
WorkTech’ implementation methodology centers on three sequential project phases, each having its own set of activities and deliverables:
This comprehensive approach ensures the success of the customer's tailored solution remains the sole focal point of every WorkTech department with which the client interacts.
During this preliminary phase WorkTech will meet with the client to demonstrate the proposed system and together establish an agreed upon scope for the system implementation. Via executive planning meetings, a formal needs analysis will be conducted to fully assess what modules, functionality and processes are to be included in the project’s Statement of Work.
This stage will aid in finalizing the requirements stated in the client’s RFP and ensure WorkTech's understanding is in line with client’s expectations. Contracts such as the Software Licensing Agreement, Software Support Agreement and Letter of Engagement ensue from the Implementation Preparation phase.
The approach to the implementation of the proposed products will involve six stages:
A team of professional consultants and technical experts with experience in the implementation of complex software applications will be guiding each phase very carefully. Professional backgrounds involved will include engineering, software development, municipal public works management, governmental human resources and customer service. These professionals will also ensure the board receives the following deliverables:
In addition, a pool of third-party consultants will be available to provide subject matter expertise and assist the WorkTech implementation team as necessary.
During this phase WorkTech and the client's user groups, perform acceptance tests on select functionality within the system. Business Process Acceptance tests are also performed to ensure the process efficiency gains agreed upon within the Statement of Work are realized. From scoping the requirements and designing the system architecture through to providing consulting and training services until the project is finally transferred to a dedicated support and client care team, the entire project team is mobilized to serve you the customer!
